Premium Quenching Oil | Control Cooling Curve & Minimize Distortion

25 Jun 2026

Most heat treatment plants facing issues with uneven hardness or workpiece distortion usually trip up during the Quenching Oil selection process. A superior quenching oil isn't judged solely by whether the steel hardens; it must control the heat dissipation rate to perfectly match each specific steel grade.

Our Quenching Oils are engineered to precisely control heat dissipation across all 3 stages:

  • Vapor Blanket Stage: Optimized for rapid film collapse, ensuring immediate cooling so the surface does not soften.

  • Boiling Stage: Extracts heat at the maximum rate, accelerating the transformation into a complete Martensite structure.

  • Convection Stage: Gently dissipates heat during the final phase, reducing internal residual stress and minimizing workpiece distortion.

Choose the right Quenching Oil formulation for your application:

  • Fast Quench: For low-carbon steel, extracting heat rapidly to achieve deep hardening.

  • Medium Quench: For tool steel, delivering a perfect balance between hardness and dimensional stability.

  • Marquenching: For complex geometries, maintaining high oil temperatures (180°C) to minimize thermal shock.

Does your current quenching oil cause soot buildup on parts, or is your hardness rate dropping after extended use? Our technical team is ready to support your plant!
