ISOTECT 377 range
Solvent containing low odour rust preventives with a range of flash points and film thicknesses. ISOTECT 377 type products guarantee excellent long-term corrosion protection.
ISOTECT MP range
Solvent-free, mineral oil containing rust preventives with thixotropic properties. The use of thixotropy enables thick rust preventing films to be produced with excellent protection.
DEWATER range
Rust preventives with strong water-displacing properties. DEWATER products ensure optimum and fast removal of residues of aqueous fluids.
AQUAPLUS range
Mineral oil and solvent-free rust preventives for the protection of water circulation systems and for the elimination of microbial attack.
INDUSTRAL CLEANERS
FEROCLEAN N range (Neutral Cleaners)
Neutral Cleaners are generally used for inter-stage and final cleaning operations during in-line production of components. They can also be used in centralised cleaning systems where different metals can be cleaned simultaneously. Neutral cleaners are usually liquids and are therefore easy to use; they also provide temporary corrosion protection and as they do not leave salt residues they are suitable for single stage cleaning systems. PETROFER's neutral cleaners are also formulated to provide good separation of the oil removal from the components.
FEROCLEAN A range (Alkaline cleaners)
Alkaline cleaners are used when high cleanliness of the metal surface is essential e.g. prior to galvanizing and enamelling. They are also excellent for removal of difficult deposits such as highly oxidized oils and fats.
Both product ranges include products for spray applications and dip tanks. Special products are also available for systems using ultra-filtration.
FEROCLEAN L range (Hydrocarbon cleaners – Degreasing agents)
As alternatives for halogen-hydrocarbon based cleaners, PETROFER offers a range of cold cleaners based on hydrocarbons. These products are odourless and are free from chlorine, fluorine and aromatic compounds. Hydrocarbons are only suitable for degreasing operations and the flammability and lower explosion limits of these products should be taken into consideration when specifying them.
