A New Innovation of Wire Drawing Dies
Nano Die represents a new era in the wire drawing industry. It has the hardness of a diamond die but is more flexible, and it lasts up to 60 times longer than carbide dies. Currently, its use is growing in high- and medium-carbon steel wire drawing because of its superior performance compared to carbide dies. Production downtime is reduced since frequent die changes are no longer necessary.
Wires drawn with Nano Die have a smoother and finer surface finish than those drawn with carbide dies, and the mechanical properties and strength of the wires are significantly better as well.
Leading factories in Thailand are now widely adopting Nano Die because it improves wire quality while greatly reducing production costs.
